Ⅱ. Differences between explosion proof motors and ordinary motors


1. The explosion proof VFD is equipped with complete monitoring measures; The main junction box is equipped with an increased-safety self-balancing current transformer for differential protection. The stator winding is buried in work and spare platinum thermal resistance, and the graduation number is Pt100. A water leakage monitor is installed to monitor the leakage of the water cooler; The two ends of the seat-type sliding bearing are respectively equipped with on-site temperature display instruments and remote signal terminals.


2. The end cover of this electrical transmission equipment adopts recessed dark bolts, and the slot is 5 times deeper than that of ordinary motors (asbestos pads are added as required), mainly to prevent sparks from going out along the gap when the internal windings are burned.


3. In addition to the excellent sealing structure of the explosion proof motor junction box, the internal lead wire of the motor winding is also sealed to the terminal. And in order to reduce the generation of sparks, generally only three ends are drawn. The external power inlet of the explosion proof motor junction box is a fire-resistant tubular threaded interface, which is extended more than ten centimeters, can be connected movably, and the two ends are sealed, and can be connected to the explosion proof threading steel pipe in a mobile and reliable manner. Therefore, the motor and the input power cord all meet the requirements of enclosed fire protection.
