01 Wet and Water-Inrush Working Environment
The working environment in coal mine is extremely complex, often involving scenarios with water inrushes or accumulated water. Under such conditions, traditional motors and frequency converters struggle to operate stably, frequently leading to water ingress into motor windings, insulation degradation, damp power circuits, mechanical damage, and increased maintenance and replacement costs.

02 Technological Innovation at CCS
To solve the problems caused by high temperature and high humidity environments, CCS has improved the protection level of motors from both research and development and process aspects.
In R&D, specialized waterproof and moisture-proof designs have been applied to motor bearings and seals, achieving a protection rating of IP67.

In manufacturing, the German Schumann automatic coil production line is used for stator coil winding and forming. The coils undergo VPI insulation treatment, resulting in excellent insulation performance, high mechanical strength, and superior moisture resistance.

Weathering steel plates are utilized, providing exceptional corrosion resistance. These measures ensure the stable operation of the integrated VFD motor in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.

03 Comprehensive Monitoring and Protection System
CCS implements real-time online monitoring of key parameters of the integrated VFD motor, including module status, bearing condition, coil temperature, vibration data, and operating data. The system triggers alarms and protective actions when preset thresholds are exceeded, ensuring continuous stable operation.

04 Case Information
CCS integrated VFD motor have continued operation after being submerged underground and following water drainage and recovery.

Gansu Coal Mine: Both the front and rear scraper conveyors are driven by CCS units. Due to a major water inrush and delayed drainage at the working face, the integrated VFD motors were submerged for three days. After drainage, insulation tests confirmed full functionality, and operation resumed without production disruption. The high reliability and protection level of CCS motors earned strong customer recognition.
Shaanxi Coal Mine: The underground working face was subject to significant water leakage, frequently leading to production delays due to equipment flooding. Since adopting CCS motors in 2023, no production stoppage has occurred as a result of water ingress, greatly improving operational continuity and production efficiency.
Shanxi Coal Mine: Scraper conveyors were powered by CCS motors. Accumulated water in the working face caused the units to be submerged for two days. Post-drainage insulation verification showed no degradation, and the system resumed normal operation. It continues to run stably to date, earning consistent praise from the customer.
The specially sealed design of the integrated VFD motor for hightemperature, highhumidity coal mine environments gives it a high protection rating and exceptional reliability. These features enable the motor to operate stably and efficiently in harsh mining conditions, providing strong support for the safety and productivity of coal mining operations.
